About Acting 4 Christ Theater Productions

Acting 4 Christ Theater Productions is a Christian-based theater company committed to using the performing arts to glorify Jesus Christ. Our team is made up of passionate Christian actors who are on fire for God and dedicated to making a difference in the world through the transformative power of theater.

Founded by Kim Nicole Reed Thomas, the company was originally established in 2006 as Divine Sunshine Theater Company. In 2008, it was renamed Acting 4 Christ Theater Productions to fully reflect its Christ-centered mission. The company was birthed out of a place of deep personal pain during a difficult split in Kim’s family. Through tears and heartbreak, God whispered to her, “Write about it.” From that moment, both her writing and her ministry were taken to another level by God's divine direction.

As a part of the Body of Christ, we are called to uplift, edify, encourage, and bring hope to a broken people and a broken world—pointing hearts back to Jesus. We are honored that God has entrusted us with creative gifts and talents, and we refuse to bury them. Instead, we boldly use them to build His Kingdom and spread the gospel through powerful performances.

Everything we do is for His glory. We are a company fully lit for Jesus Christ—serving with purpose, passion, and unwavering faith.
